A variety of approaches are needed for vitalizing regional economies.

HVCSRI has developed and provided advice on the regional industrial cluster strategies; conducted survey and research on market and technology trends for new industry fields of ICT, life science, and renewable sources of energy; and developed administrative management support measures such as outsourcing, public-private cooperation for local governments.
