Hokkaido Venture Capital, Inc. supports the "Workshop on Italy-Hokkaido Bilateral Cooperation in Innovative ICT" to be held on December 4th, 2008. This workshop is hosted by the Embassy of Italy in Japan, and the workshop programs are jointly organized by Hokkaido University and Politecnico di Torino (Torino University of Technology).

This workshop has stemmed from the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) for the tripartite alliance signed in January 2007 among Torino Wireless Foundation; then-Sapporo Region Knowledge Cluster Headquarters for Sapporo IT Carrozzeria, Knowledge Cluster Initiative by MEXT; and Hokkaido Venture Capital, Inc.
